Candidates still have until Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. to registerThe race for mayor in Owen Sound has become a little more crowded, with a sixth candidate now registered to run. The city announced on Monday that Mike Seiler is now a registered candidate for the office of mayor. Current mayor Ian Boddy has publicly confirmed he isn’t seeking re-election after 16 years on council, the past 12 as mayor. There still remains just one candidate for deputy-mayor in the city, with Scott Greig seeking a second consecutive term in that position.
