The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith has named Dr. Duncan Pelly as dean of the College of Business and Industry. He comes to UAFS from Nashville-based Fisk University, where was co-dean of the School of Natural Sciences, Business, and Mathematics, and the Cal Turner Endowed Chair of Business Administration. He has authored books and articles on entrepreneurship, storytelling, autoethnography, organizational behavior, international business, and higher education. Degree programs in the college include public accounting, corporate finance and investments, supply chain management, small enterprise management, and advanced manufacturing engineering. The college also offers a bachelor’s degree in advanced manufacturing engineering, the first such degree in the state.
