Leadership Jonesboro, a program of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the graduation of its 40th class on Thursday (Aug. 6) at the Cooper Alumni Center on the campus of Arkansas State University. Graduates were joined by friends, family members, distinguished guests, and representatives from the businesses and organizations they represent. Leadership Jonesboro is designed to identify, educate, and motivate emerging leaders to become more involved in the future of the Jonesboro community. The nine-month program brings together individuals from diverse professional backgrounds to develop their leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding of the community. As part of the program, members of the 40th class divided into six teams to complete community-focused projects addressing a variety of needs throughout the Jonesboro area.
