Orientation programme held for women folk of armed forces

Hyderabad: With an aim to bring awareness among women folk regarding welfare initiatives being taken to empower them, the Veer Ratna Foundation organised a special orientation programme at the Sainik Aram Ghar premises in Hyderabad.
The orientation programme aimed to connect women of armed forces families with the organisation and provide comprehensive awareness regarding various welfare initiatives, services offered by the foundation, procedures to access them, alongside the organisation’s objectives, values, and programme implementation.
These initiatives were aimed at ensuring long-term benefits for Veer Naris and families of armed forces personnel.
The orientation programme was held under the aegis of the Veer Ratna Foundation, represented by Deepti Sharma, in collaboration with the Telangana State Department of Sainik Welfare.
Brigadier NR attended the event as Chief Guest, while Telangana Department of Sainik Welfare Director Babu, Regional Sainik Welfare Officer Srinesh Kumar Nori, and other senior officials also participated in the proceedings.
