MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Since its inception in 2021, Peak Health has grown steadily and has continued to expand in the health insurance marketplace.
On WAJR’s “Talk of the Town,” Peak Health President Amos Ross said their Peak Advantage Medicare Advantage plans have earned a 4.5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), making Peak Advantage the highest-rated Medicare Advantage plan in West Virginia.
Peak Health and their partners, WVU Medicine, Marshall Health Network, and Valley Health have provided incentives based on preventive care that can in some cases cut costs.
“I think in the future you’ll see other offerings from Peak Health that create opportunities.”
Peak Health could be the local answer to solve a long-standing problem for state employees and lawmakers.
