Bermudian cricketer Ja’Shay Trott claimed one wicket as the Americas NextGen XI lost to Canada by 13 runs in the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier in the Cayman Islands. The NextGen XI, coached by former Bermuda international Terry-Lynn Paynter, won the toss and elected to field, restricting Canada to 93-5 from their 20 overs. Trott conceded just 12 runs from her four-over spell and claimed one wicket, finishing with figures of 1-12.
