A man is facing attempted murder charges after he allegedly tried to open a plane’s emergency exit door 30,000 feet in the air.
The man was travelling from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Kochi, India on Batik Air flight OD231 on August 7 when the incident took place.
During the flight, the 36-year-old allegedly attempted to open the plane’s emergency exit door, damaged its windows, and threatened other passengers.
“Without any provocation, he tried to open the emergency exit and destroyed the exit window panel.
The plane was at 30,000 feet when the terrifying incident took place, according to GB News.
