South Carolina woman, inmate indicted in FCI Hazelton attempted trafficking case

BRUCETON MILLS, W.Va. — Two have been indicted in connection with an attempt to smuggle methamphetamine into Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Hazelton.
Shaquana Gary, 40, of Greenville, South Carolina, was indicted on one count of providing a prohibited object to a prison inmate.
Robert Polk, 47, an inmate at FCI Hazelton, was indicted on one count of possession of a prohibited object by an inmate.
The attempted exchange happened during a visit between Gary and Polk.
“Crimes inside our federal prisons will not be tolerated,” said U.S. Attorney Matthew L. Harvey.
