(Danville, VA) – A Danville private school is kicking off the new school year in a new location. Rivermont School will host a ribbon cutting for their new facility today at 301 Lowes Drive. The ceremony will begin at noon. The former Babcock furniture store has been transformed into a fourteen classroom campus complete with playground, cafeteria, library and more! School principal Dr. Tia Hairston said of the move, “This new campus reflects our continued commitment to the Danville community, and we look forward to opening our doors, sharing the space, and celebrating what this means for our students, families, and team.”
