ALFIE EDGELL has been ruled out for the rest of the season, Leeds Rhinos head coach Brad Arthur has confirmed. Edgell has played just three times for the Rhinos this campaign after recently returning from a thigh injury suffered on Boxing Day. However, the 22-year-old winger tore his quad in the act of scoring a disallowed try in Leeds’ 24-22 win over Wakefield Trinity last Friday. “In his effort to score that try for us in the second half, he tore his quad and bravely enough played on for us. Leeds’ other first-choice winger, Maika Sivo, is on the road to recovery following surgery on a broken arm.
