According to the most recent data from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, unemployment rates in six local counties slightly increased in June compared to May, although they were all still below 3.8%. Williams and Fulton were somewhat higher at 3.7%, but four of the six (Putnam, Paulding, Defiance, and Henry) were at or below 3.5%. Defiance, 3.3%; Fulton 3.7%; Henry 3.5%; Paulding 3.1%; Putnam 3.0%; and Williams, 3.7%.
