Shadnagar: The Keshampet Police have arrested a three-member interstate chain-snatching gang allegedly involved in a series of chain-snatching and motorcycle theft cases across the Future City Commissionerate limits. Police recovered approximately seven tolas of stolen gold ornaments, three mobile phones, a stolen motorcycle and two knives from their possession. The arrested accused have been identified as Sukhdev Singh (38), Shamsher Singh (36) and Manpreet Singh (24), all natives of Punjab. Investigators further revealed that the gang had earlier stolen a motorcycle from Kothakota in June and used the same vehicle to carry out chain-snatching offences. The accused allegedly sold the stolen gold ornaments and shared the proceeds among themselves.
