After more than 60 years of welcoming Pirates, Legacy Hall is ready for a new generation of students. Constructed in 1960 as the second residence hall on East Carolina University’s College Hill, Legacy Hall returns to service this fall following a yearlong, approximately $29 million renovation. The project is part of a larger $54 million investment in Legacy Hall and Jones Hall designed to modernize the student living experience. The front lawn and surrounding landscaping were also redesigned to create more green space around the residence hall.
