Gandhinagar: Gujarat has reported 225 suspected Chandipura virus cases since June 30, including 39 laboratory-confirmed infections. According to the latest Health Department data released Monday, 25 deaths have been recorded among confirmed patients. The number of suspected cases has risen by 41 from the 184 reported in the state’s previous briefing earlier this month, while the number of confirmed cases has remained at 39. Laboratory testing has been completed for 212 of the 225 suspected cases. On July 20, the Health Department had reported 63 suspected cases, with 12 testing positive.
