Shadnagar: MaheshwaramTraffic DCP Shivam Upadhyay advised bikers that under no circumstances they should forget to travel without helmets. On Wednesday, he participated in a road safety awareness programme organised in Kothur under Shadnagar constituency. As part of the programme, several riders traveling without helmets were immediately provided with new helmets. He warned that overspeeding, negligent driving, drunk driving, and using mobile phones while riding are the main causes of accidents. Helmets were distributed to riders traveling without them, with instructions to wear them mandatorily on every trip.
