The family of PGA Tour player Matt McQuillan has revealed the 45-year-old died on August 5 surrounded by his loved ones at Kingston General Hospital in Ontario, Canada. McQuillan earned a PGA Tour card in 2010 and competed in 21 tournaments in 2011 and made the cut in seven of them. After he won the 2005 TELUS Edmonton Open, McQuillan left golf and worked as a bartender—before returning to the sport he loved.
