['Shropshire Live']

An incredible morning of food, friendship and community spirit marked the launch of the very first Veterans Community Breakfast, organised by Old Comrade Li CIC in partnership with Shropshire European Organisation and Brighter Days (Shropshire) CIC.
The first Veterans Community Breakfast held at Bocian Café at Ditherington Community CentreHeld at Bocian Café at Ditherington Community Centre, the inaugural breakfast brought together veterans, volunteers, friends and members of the local community for a morning of good food, conversation and companionship.
The event was a huge success, with veterans coming together to share stories, enjoy breakfast and reconnect with old friends, while also making new ones.
The strong sense of community around the tables demonstrated exactly why the Veterans Community Breakfast was created: to provide a welcoming space where veterans and the wider community can meet, socialise and enjoy each other’s company.
Our very first Veterans Community Breakfast was an absolute joy to be part of, and we couldn’t be prouder of how it came together.
