Manitoba’s largest hospital was the victim of a ransomware attack. Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg responded to the cyber incident on Monday evening, according to a press release by Shared Health. Patient care and clinical services were not affected, according to Shared Health. “HSC is working diligently to address the situation as safely and securely as possible,” the release reads. Shared Health says the hospital began an investigation “to determine the nature and scope of the impact of the incident.”
