Thalles De Souza, a worker at a Wendy’s restaurant in Massachusetts, will be furthering his education at the prestigious Yale University this fall after his managers helped him pay his school fees. De Souza’s managers decided to help him further his education after they noticed his potential. De Souza initially gained employment at a Wendy’s restaurant to earn an income while he was in high school. “I thought if I go to construction, I can work hard, make money and eventually go to college,” De Souza said. “We saw a bright future in him and so we wanted to help in any way we can,” Smily said.
