Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli has warned that security officers and government officials could face dismissal if they leak confidential government information to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Speaking at St. Francis Mawego Catholic Church Parish in Karachuonyo constituency, Atwoli accused Gachagua of misusing the information he receives. “Don’t give Gachagua information because he misuses that information, and he will cause people’s children in the police force, our young people, to be fired. He warned that sharing confidential information in public forums endangers the lives of security officers. You are endangering the police officers, Gachagua.
