In Asir, Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Rabwah Sector arrested a citizen for attempting to smuggle 600 grams of khat. Meanwhile, in Jazan, Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Dair Sector arrested an Ethiopian border security violator for attempting to smuggle 80 kilograms of khat. In a separate operation in Jazan, Border Guard land patrols in the Al-Dair Sector thwarted an attempt to smuggle 31,500 tablets subject to medical circulation regulations. For the separate Jazan case, initial legal procedures were completed and the seized contraband was handed over to the competent authority.
