Former NBA star Derek Fisher recently revealed that he sacrificed a $21 million contract with the Utah Jazz to enable him to move to Los Angeles with his family for his 11-month-old daughter Tatum to receive medical care. “We’re going to have to live in a city that has the hospitals and the medical care that my daughter needs, regardless of basketball,” Fisher disclosed. Fisher’s ex-wife, Candace Fisher, is from Los Angeles, and her family was living in the city at the time. Fisher ultimately signed a $14.1 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers after he and his family moved to the city.
