Over 70 drug-tested athletes gathered at Piner High School in Santa Rosa for the annual “California Naturals” bodybuilding competition. According to the Press Democrat, sanctioned by the INBA and PNBA, the long-running Sonoma County event celebrates sculpted physiques built strictly through fitness and nutrition—with zero performance-enhancing drugs allowed. Petaluma coach Chris Jantz brought his “Team Brink” athletes to the stage, racking up impressive victories and several professional status cards across multiple divisions. Standout local competitors included 20-year-old Eliot Brooker, who captured two overall titles and his pro card, along with 67-year-old first-time competitor Mimi Patterson. Jantz, a Hall of Fame coach who also won a Pro Grand Masters title at the event, says the mission goes far beyond the trophies to build confidence and promote healthier lives.
