Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said talks with Oman over shipping routes do not mean the Strait of Hormuz will reopen.
President Donald Trump told Axios that the U.S. is “low-keying” negotiations and shifting to economic pressure instead.
In that article, he said Iran is in “very bad shape,” unable to even pay its soldiers.
On the strait itself, Trump said flatly, “I’m not going to let them charge.”
