A Celebration of Life for Alisea “Lisa” Houston Crowder, age 64, of Woodland, Alabama, will be held on Tuesday, August 11, at 1:00 p.m. CT in the Chapel at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee, Alabama, with Pastor Dr. Joseph R. Brown officiating. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 26, 1962, Lisa was the daughter of John and Jeanette Houston. Lisa was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jeanette Houston, and her baby brother, Johnny Ray Houston. She is also survived by four sisters, Beverly Banister of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Pamela Houston of Birmingham, Alabama, Connie Houston of Dayton, Ohio, and Nelda Scenie (Raymond) of Conyers, Georgia; and one brother, Baryon Houston (Catherine) of Birmingham, Alabama. Those who loved Lisa will remember her warm heart, contagious generosity, love of a great bargain, and unwavering desire to make others smile.
