MANDAN, N.D. — A 22-year-old Mandan woman faces multiple felony charges, including two counts of murder, after allegedly attacking her three young children with a knife on August 6, 2026, leaving two dead and one severely injured. According to court records, Mandan Police officers responded to a residence at 1205 South Frontier Trail following a 911 dispatch regarding a mother who had stabbed her children. Officers located three children laying motionless on a bed inside a bedroom off the living room, all suffering from knife wounds primarily concentrated around their necks:A.E. (born 2024, age 2): Sustained neck lacerations that required surgical intervention to repair.
