LAIKA has released the official key art for Wildwood, its highly-anticipated stop-motion fantasy feature Travis Knight directs from Colin Meloy's middle-grade novel. Both drew animated feature Oscar nominations. In fact, every LAIKA feature to date has been nominated for the Academy Award for animated feature. Kubo also garnered a visual effects nomination, only the second such honor ever for an animated film in history (The Nightmare Before Christmas was the first). Meloy, frontman for the indie rock group the Decemberists, wrote "Wildwood" in 2011 with illustrations done by Carson Ellis.
