(Richmond, VA) – The Virginia Lottery is giving back to the state’s K-12 public schools in a big way! Lottery players generated more than $914 million during the fiscal year of 2026. That total is the second highest profit year ever and a third consecutive year eclipsing the $900 million mark. Players purchased a staggering $6.36 billion in lottery products during the year. The players themselves won more than $5 billion in prizes throughout the year.
