Per ESPN’s Shams Charania the Wolves will be one of 10 NBA teams across five games to play on Christmas Day in 2026. The Wolves will be hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder with the tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. in a Northwest Division bout as part of the NBA’s five game Christmas Day slate. This will be the first time a Christmas Day game will be played in Minneapolis. This will be the fifth time Minnesota is scheduled to play on Christmas Day and third consecutive season they will play on the holiday. The Wolves first played on Christmas Day in 2016 in Oklahoma City against the Thunder, a 112-100 loss.
