Man to enter into plea agreement on child exploitation, coercion charges

GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Defendant Ryan Wayne Baron has entered into a plea agreement in the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota, pleading guilty to three federal counts related to child sexual exploitation and coercion.
The charges to which Baron is pleading guilty include:Count One (Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Child): Involving conduct from approximately January 2022 to January 2024 attempting to induce a minor, Jane Doe 1, to produce visual depictions of sexually explicit conduct.
Count Three (Receipt of Images Depicting the Sexual Exploitation of Children): Involving conduct from approximately January 2014 to January 2016 involving visual depictions of Jane Doe 2.
Count Six (Coercion and Enticement of a Minor): Involving conduct from approximatelyThe agreement further specifies mandatory restitution under 18 U.S.C.
The agreement was signed by Defendant Ryan Wayne Baron, defense attorney Dierra D. Diegel, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Gary L. Delorme on behalf of U.S. Attorney Nicholas W. Chase.
