During the campaign, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office issued:18 speeding citations2 uninsured motorists1 Vehicle Registration Suspended1 no driver’s license1 No vehicle registration1 Disobeying traffic control device1 felony arrests2 fugitives apprehended3 drug arrestsThe speed enforcement effort costs were paid using federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
