The Washington Nationals completed a three-game weekend series sweep with a 7-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds in DC in a game heard yesterday on WRBI. He gave up five hits, three earned runs, one walk and struck out three over six innings. The Reds could muster only four hits on the afternoon, and scored six runs on 16 hits the entire series. Alex Palou drove closer to his record-tying fourth consecutive NTT IndyCar series championship and fifth overall title with his victory yesterday in the Grand Prix of Portland. It’s Palou’s sixth trip to victory lane season and the 25th of his career.
