Beef wholesale prices firmed, an indication of stronger consumer demand. CME August live cattle futures settled up 1.575 cents to 233.275 cents per pound. CME August feeder cattle futures fell 90 cents to 350.75 cents per pound. CME August lean hog futures settled 0.20 cent higher to 95.70 cents per pound.
