A man has been indicted for allegedly stealing over $6,000 worth of power tools from home improvement stores across the Valley.
According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, between September 2025 and July 2026, Luis Adrian Valle-Martinez stole from 17 different Lowes and Home Depot stores throughout the Valley.
Surveillance video captured the defendant using the self-checkout to pay for low-cost items, then leaving the store without paying for higher-value merchandise which he would then sell along 27th Avenue and Van Buren in Phoenix.
Valle-Martinez was indicted on 17 counts of Organized Retail Theft, a Class Four Felony.
