When you walk into Rushan Nasretdin’s art studio in the southern Finnish town of Järvenpää, you don’t see paint tubes, palettes and canvases. That’s because most of Nasretdin’s art supplies don’t come from a shop, but straight from the Finnish forests and archipelago. As the founder of Seed Art Studio, an English-immersion children’s art studio, Nasretdin leads hands-on natural ink workshops using locally sourced materials.
