A woman from Montreal is facing charges after an incident where police said a man was sprayed with a noxious substance.
On Sunday night around 9:15 p.m., police said a man was reportedly in the Galt area of Cambridge at Glebe Street and St. Andrews Street when he was sprayed by a woman he did not know.
The next day, the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) said it arrested a 34-year-old woman from Montreal.
The service also released an image that day of a woman who they were looking to speak to in connection with the investigation.
The woman from Montreal is facing numerous charges including assault with a weapon and administering a noxious substance with intent to endanger life or cause bodily harm.
