Two young Hancock County men have been killed in a single-vehicle accident. The crash occurred on Saturday night at approximately 10:15 near the intersection of Hilldale Road and Hwy 271, about nine miles west of Hawesville. Kentucky State Police said its investigation showed that a 1998 Ford Mustang left the roadway before striking an earthen embankment. The Ford’s two occupants, 23-year-old Sean Woosley, of Hawesville, and 25-year-old Joshua Wood, of Lewisport, were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hancock County Coroner’s Office. The KSP investigation is ongoing.
