An off-duty Kentucky State Police trooper assisted the Hartford Police Department when a vehicle fled a traffic stop. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at approximately 7:30 when Hartford Officer Jason Davis responded to a report of a reckless driver traveling south on I-165. Shortly thereafter, the Hartford officer located the vehicle and observed it nearly strike a guardrail. When the Hartford officer approached the vehicle, the driver, 44-year-old Langh Hau Cin, of Bowling Green, accelerated and attempted to flee again, as Officer Davis returned to his patrol vehicle and continued the pursuit. With assistance from Trooper Davis, the driver was removed from the vehicle after refusing to exit.
