MTSU women’s soccer coach Aston Rhoden doesn’t like to live in the past or think too far into the future. The 2002 season was the team’s only losing season while Middle Tennessee was in the SBC under Rhoden. While a part of CUSA, the Blue Raiders have finished anywhere from fourth to last in the conference. The Blue Raiders have been on an upward trajectory since 2022 after finishing the year 2-12-3 and 0-8-2 in CUSA play, due to Rhoden’s recruiting abilities. Though the team changes each season, the process for winning is still the same for MTSU as it was when Rhoden started.
