An ambulance driver caught up drinking and driving irresponsibly was caught red-handed by the Rayadurgam Police on Wednesday night. The police had started drunk and drive checks at Al Saba Hotel in Gachibowli in the Raidurgam police station jurisdiction. It was then that the police stopped a red ambulance passing through the hotel junction and asked the driver to take a breathalyser test. As per sources, the Rayadurgam police personnel found that the ambulance driver Raghavendra' ls breathalyser test reading reported to be at 324, which is far beyond the permissible limit. The Rayadurgam police have arrested the drunken driver and filed a complaint against him for drunk driving and also seized his ambulance.
