Vietnam Airlines celebrated 35 years of connectivity between Vietnam and Australia with a series of renewed partnerships, as General Secretary and President To Lam joined senior government and industry representatives in Sydney. The airline also joined Vietnamese tourism promotion agencies and businesses in signing a cooperation agreement with Flight Centre Travel Group. The agreements focus on destination promotion, tourism product development, market expansion and stronger B2B connections between the two nations. As part of the program, Vietnam Airlines also exchanged MoUs with Trip.com and RMIT University at the Vietnam–Australia Techconnect Forum held earlier in the day. Today, Vietnam Airlines operates 25 round-trip flights per week on five routes, connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
