A reality TV contestant accused of beheading her partner has pleaded not guilty to murder, flagging a mental health defence. Tamika Sueann Rose Chesser, who was runner-up on Beauty and the Geek in 2010, allegedly decapitated Julian Story, 39, and disposed of his body in June 2025. She is being held under a mental health detention order at psychiatric facility James Nash House in Adelaide. Police found Mr Story’s body after firefighters were called to the Flinders Highway property to investigate reports of a blaze. A Port Lincoln resident told police on July 31 they had found a skull in scrub while pursuing a wandering dog.
