Both drivers involved in a collision on U.S. Route 50 west of Otterville suffered injury Monday, Aug. 10. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that at around 12:15 p.m., a 17-year-old teenager from Sedalia was attempting to make a left turn onto Old Route 50. Troopers report that she drove her sedan into the path of a pickup driven by a 62-year-old man from Marshall, and was struck by the pickup. The Marshall driver was listed as not wearing his seat belt and incurred moderate injury. The Sedalia driver had minor injuries and was taken to a Sedalia hospital.
