A man was arrested in Henry County after shining a spotlight at a Med Force helicopter. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, on July 19th at approximately 2:35 a.m., a Med Force medical helicopter was illuminated by a powerful spotlight near Highway 218 and the Skunk River. Deputies identified 63-year-old Jeffrey Krieger as the individual who directed the spotlight at the aircraft, and he was subsequently arrested. The flight crew explained the spotlight illuminated the cockpit for approximately 15 seconds, forcing them to remove their night vision goggles. A preliminary hearing has been set for August 21st in Henry County.
