Minister for roads and buildings in Telangana Komatireddy Venkat Reddy held a review meeting over the incessant rains lashed the state for the last two days. He sought an update on road conditions, bridges, low lying causeways and culverts in the combined districts and R&B Divisions.. He directed the officials to make the alternative measures to ensure traffic flow in uninterrupted in inundated areas. The Minister advised taking appropriate precautionary measures at road and bridge construction sites. Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy issued orders for all personnel—from the Engineer-in-Chief (ENC) down to the Assistant Engineer (AE)—to remain on high alert.
