The Fremont-Winema National Forest has temporarily closed an area on the Chiloquin Ranger District due to the Wrights Spring Fire. Closure is in effect August 9 through October 31, 2026, or until conditions improve. The closure protects public, firefighter, and employee safety during wildfire suppression and recovery work.
