MoDOT HOSTING MEETINGS TO DISCUSS HIGH-PRIORITY UNFUNDED TRANSPORTATION NEEDS

The first of several public meetings discussing the Missouri Department of Transportation’s High-Priority Unfunded Transportation Needs will take place Wednesday, Aug. 12 in Chillicothe.
$1.3 billion worth of those needs are included on a draft list that will featured at meetings throughout the state.
Wednesday’s meeting in Chillicothe will focus on the unfunded needs identified across Northwest Missouri, and begin at 4 p.m. at the Home of Sliced Bread Welcome Center on Elm Street.
MoDOT has also scheduled meetings for Aug. 19 in Jefferson City, as well as Aug. 27 in Clinton and Warrensburg.
