The first of several public meetings discussing the Missouri Department of Transportation’s High-Priority Unfunded Transportation Needs will take place Wednesday, Aug. 12 in Chillicothe. $1.3 billion worth of those needs are included on a draft list that will featured at meetings throughout the state. Wednesday’s meeting in Chillicothe will focus on the unfunded needs identified across Northwest Missouri, and begin at 4 p.m. at the Home of Sliced Bread Welcome Center on Elm Street. MoDOT has also scheduled meetings for Aug. 19 in Jefferson City, as well as Aug. 27 in Clinton and Warrensburg. The full list of meetings and MoDOT’s draft lists are posted on their website.
