A golf tournament this Friday in Marshall aims to support a program that connects veterans with each other and the great outdoors. The fourth annual Veterans Three-Man Scramble will take place this Friday, Aug. 14 at the Indian Foothills Golf Course. Organizer Kip Bethel says the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.. The tournament was originally scheduled for Aug. 7 but delayed a week following heavy rains. Friday’s golf tournament benefits Missouri Vets Outdoors, which provides opportunities for veterans to connect while enjoying outdoor activities including hunting and fishing.
