WARREN, Ohio – A new Eastgate Regional Council of Governments study will examine where various types of housing could be developed across the Mahoning Valley. The analysis will consider land availability, infrastructure, transportation, jobs and amenities to identify areas that could support future residential growth. Plus, construction activity in the Mahoning and Shenango valleys remains strong, with union contractor man hours up about 15% from the same point last fiscal year. And vehicle sales in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties declined in July from a year earlier, according to the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.
