When viewed on its own terms rather than through the lens of its rocky road to audiences, Eden is far from disastrous. Like the costly box office bomb Expend4bles, it could become a hit on streaming. Eden didn’t deserve a single Oscar nomination, but it didn’t deserve the cold shoulder from Hollywood, either.
